The engine has been offered in a total three engine options- 1.4-litre TSI petrol, 1.8-litre TSI petrol and 2.0-litre TDI diesel. Launched in a total 7 variants, the Octavia has 3 petrol and 4 diesel variants, in both automatic as well as manual transmission gearboxes. While the 1.4-litre TSI petrol is the same sporting VW Jetta, other two engine options are already on Skoda Laura.
